This is a video recording surveillance device inside an airplane, such as in the cockpit, passenger area, washroom, etc.; this is by video-audio recording the scenes and saved over a period of, say, last 30 minutes, on a continuous (say, in a "loop" tape recording) basis. This is for forensic use only, all recording being appropriately confidential, and to be used under strict rules and regulations as legally permitted. If not used for the purpose, all such recordings are to be erased after a certain period, say, 366 days. For the ease of retrieval, say from an ocean bed, an automatically inflating (after a certain period) balloon (like, say, automobile air-bag) may bring the recording instrument to the surface of the water. This device may emit light, sound, smoke, electronic etc. signals for ease of spotting.
