A foldable, collapsible case for transporting and storing of a bicycle or similar equipment. The case comprises an outer three dimentional box-like structure made of flexible material, and inner panels se- cured to the outer structure to provide structural rigidity and to position the components of the equip- ment. A restraint system suspends the bicycle so that it does not rest on the bottom or the top of the case when packed. The outer structure is dimensioned to contain the intended equipment in a partially dismantled state. It includes two side walls, a front wall, a rear wall, a top wall and a bottom wall. There are two layers of inner panels on each side of the case. The layer closer to the outside wall on each side is normally flat and is hinged to permit folding of the case. The innermost panels are designed to be folded, bent, or otherwise formed into structural shapes to provide rigidity to the case and protection of its contents while also positioning certain components. When the case is not in use the inner layers can be laid flat to permit the entire case to be folded into a compact package. The case further comprises a plurality of straps, bands, and spacers for retaining the equipment within the case, leaving a clearance space between the equipment and the walls of the case.
