This invention concerns a martensitic-austentitic steel consisting essentially (in wt%) of: 8 to 15 % chromium, 0.5 to 2.5 % molybdenum, up to 2 % tungsten, 4 to 10 % cobalt, 0.5 to 6 % nickel, 2.5 to 8 % manganese, 0.1 to 1.0 % vanadium 0.05 to 0,25 % nitrogen, up to 0.2 % carbon, the rest being iron with impurities. This martensitic-austentitic steel can be used, in particular, as material for rotors or rotor disks in gas turbines operating at temperatures above above 450 °C. The adjustment of the two phase martensitic-austentitic structure is done by heat treatment of the solution annealed and quenched steel structure in a temperature range between 550 °C and 650 °C.

L'invention concerne un acier martensitique-austénitique, composé essentiellement de (en % en poids): 8 à 15 % de chrome, 0,5 à 2,5 % de molybdène, jusqu'à 2 % de tungstène, 4 à 10 % de cobalt, 0,5 à 6 % de nickel, 2,5 à 8 % de manganèse, 0,1 à 10 % de vanadium, 0,05 à 0,25 % d'azote, jusqu'à 0,2 % de carbone, le reste étant constitué de fer et d'impuretés. Cet acier martensitique-austénitique peut en particulier être utilisé comme matière pour la fabrication de rotors ou de disques de rotor de turbines à gaz, devant fonctionner à des températures supérieures à 450 C. L'ajustement de la structure à deux phases, martensitique et austénitique, se fait par un traitement thermique, dans une plage de température comprise entre 550 C et 650 C, de la structure de l'acier ayant subi un recuit de mise en solution et une trempe.
