ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE It is disclosed that a disaster prevention system for underground spaces has a compressed air supply system and an independent power generator installed in an underground space. In the event of a disaster, the compressed air supply system discharges compressed air into an underground space in order to maintain the air pressure therein at a higher level than that of the external atmosphere. The independent power generator generates electrical energy which provides the necessary lighting for the underground space. - 13 -
