A soil aeration device (10) may include a plurality of arcuate blades (15) mounted to an assembly adapted to rotate and translate the blades (15) proximate a ground surface, thereby forming aeration pockets in the soil. In certain embodiments, the arcuate tines (15) penetrate and fracture the soil while minimizing the amount of soil lifted from the pocket deposited on the top of the soil. In various embodiments, a planetary gear assembly (13) imparts to the tine a trans lational and rotational movement which creates a fractured pocket in the soil while minimizing the amount of soil lifted from the pocket and deposited on the surface of the soil. In still other embodiments, the arcuate tine (15) may have mounted thereon a coring tube (25) that cuts and removes a plug from the pocket formed in the soil.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'aération de sol (10) comportant une pluralité de lames courbes (15) montées à un ensemble adapté à entraîner en rotation et en translation les lames (15) à proximité d'une surface de sol, formant ainsi des poches d'aération dans le sol. Dans certains modes de réalisation, les dents arquées (15) pénètrent dans le sol et le fragmentent tout en minimisant la quantité de sol soulevé depuis les poches déposées sur la surface du sol.
