The invention concerns two separators (20, 30) in series in the output portion of a hydrogen circuit defining each at least an intake chamber (21, 31), separated by a hydrophilic filter (22, 32), from an output chamber (23, 33) connected to the water circuit (24) of the cell. The invention is applicable to air-hydrogen fuel cells.
