Thienopyrimidines of the formula I (see formula I) and the physiologically acceptable salts thereof in which R1, R2, R3, R4, X and n have the meanings given in Claim 1 inhibit phosphodiesterase V and can be employed for the treatment of diseases of the cardiovascular system and for the therapy of impaired potency.
