The invention relates to a composition comprising a blend of a mixture having: from 30 to 50 parts by weight of vulcanized rubber having a particle size distribution substantially between 40 and 100 U.S. sieve size and a processing oil, in which the mixture contains from 20 to 30 wt.% of the processing oil; from 10 to 20 parts by weight of at least one thermoplastic olefin elastomer (TPO) having a melt flow index of from 7 to 12 g/10 min and a density of from 0.90 to 1.10 g/cm3; and from 3 to 8 parts by weight of a particulate polypropylene being selected from the group consisting of homopolymers and copolymers of propylene, the polypropylene having a melt flow index of from 6 to 20 g/10 min; from 8 to 18 parts by weight of at least one particulate styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer, said block copolymer having a melt flow index of from 8 to 10 g/10 min and a styrene to butadiene ratio of from 20:80 to 40:60; and from 5 to 15 parts by weight of at least one particulate ethylene-propylene-dime elastomer, said elastomer having a Mooney viscosity at 52°C (125°F) between 50 and 75. A process for making the composition described above is also disclosed.
