The invention relates to novel antibodies that can bind specifically to the human protein CD 151, especially monoclonal antibodies of murine origin, chimeric antibodies, and humanised antibodies, and to the amino acid and nucleic acid sequences coding for said antibodies. The invention relates to the use of said antibodies as a medicament for the prophylactic and/or therapeutic treatment of cancer and in methods or kits for diagnosing diseases related to the overexpression of the protein CD 151. The invention further relates to products and/or compositions comprising such antibodies combined with anticancer antibodies and/or agents or conjugated with toxins and/or radioelements, and to the use thereof for the prevention and/or treatment of certain cancers.
La présente invention est relative à de nouveaux anticorps capables de se lier spécifiquement à la protéine humaine CD 151, notamment monoclonaux d'origine murine, chimériques et humanisés, ainsi que les séquences d'acide aminé et nucléiques codant pour ces anticorps. L'invention comprend également l'utilisation de ces anticorps à titre de médicament pour le traitement prophylactique et/ou thérapeutique de cancers ainsi que dans des procédés ou nécessaire de diagnostic de maladies liées à la surexpression de la protéine CD 151. L'invention comprend enfin des produits et/ou des compositions comprenant de tels anticorps en association avec des anticorps et/ou des agents anticancéreux ou conjugués avec des toxines et./ou des radioéléments et leur utilisation pour la prévention et/ou le traitement de certains cancers.
