Using radiosensitivity enhancers containing, as the active ingredient, nucleic acids having the base sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1 or SEQ ID NO:3, proteins having the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:2 or SEQ ID NO:4 etc., the radiosensitivity of malignant tumor cells is enhanced. Owing to this sensitization effect, radiotherapy is made efficacious against radio- tolerant malignant tumor or malignant tumor having lowered radiosensitivity.

Pour accroître la radiosensibilité de cellules tumorales malignes, on utilise des activateurs de radiosensibilité renfermant comme principe actif des acides nucléiques dont la séquence de base est représentée par SEQ ID NO :1 ou SEQ ID NO:3 et des protéines dont la séquence d'acides aminés est représentée par SEQ ID NO:2 ou SEQ ID NO:4. Cet effet de sensibilisation permet d'utiliser efficacement la radiothérapie contre des tumeurs malignes radio-tolérantes ou présentant une moindre radiosensibilité.
