A method of producing hydrocarbon fluid from a layer of oil sand located in an earth formation, the method comprising creating at least one borehole in the earth formation, including a discharge borehole having a borehole section extending in a selected direction at an angle of less than 45 degrees with an upper and/or lower boundary of the layer and being provided with a liner of a length adapted to be changed, and creating a cavity in the layer of oil sand, the cavity being in fluid communication with said borehole section; extending the cavity in the selected direction by operating fluid jetting means via said at least one borehole to jet a stream of fluid against a wall of the cavity; changing the length of the liner in correspondence with extension of the cavity in the selected direction; and transporting a slurry of fluid and oil sand, resulting from operation of the fluid jetting means, from the cavity via the discharge borehole to a processing facility for processing the slurry.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de production de fluide hydrocarbure à partir dune couche de sable pétrolifère située dans une formation terrestre, le procédé consistant à créer au moins un forage dans la formation terrestre, y compris un forage de décharge qui comporte une section de forage qui sétend dans une direction sélectionnée à un angle inférieur à 45 degrés avec une limite supérieure et/ou inférieure de la couche et qui est pourvu dun chemisage dune longueur adaptée pour être changée, et à créer une cavité dans la couche de sable pétrolifère, la cavité étant en communication fluide avec ladite section de forage ; à étendre la cavité dans la direction sélectionnée en actionnant des moyens dinjection de fluide par lintermédiaire dudit ou desdits forages pour injecter un courant de fluide contre une paroi de la cavité ; à changer la longueur du chemisage de façon correspondante à lextension de la cavité dans la direction sélectionnée ; et à transporter une boue de fluide et sable pétrolifère, qui résulte du fonctionnement des moyens dinjection de fluide, à partir de la cavité par lintermédiaire du forage de décharge jusquà une installation de traitement pour traiter la boue.
