A Ziegler-Natta type catalyst component can be produced by a process comprising contacting a magnesium dialkoxide compound with a halogenating agent to form a reaction product A, and contacting reaction product A with a first, second and third halogenating/titanating agents. Catalyst components, catalysts, catalyst systems, polyolefin, products made therewith, and methods of forming each are disclosed. The reaction products can be washed with a hydrocarbon solvent to reduce titanium species [Ti] content to less than about 100 mmol/L.

L'invention concerne un composant de catalyseur Ziegler-Natta pouvant être obtenu à l'aide d'un procédé consistant à mettre en contact un composé de dialkoxyde de magnésium avec un agent d'halogénation pour former un produit de réaction A, et à mettre en contact le produit de réaction A avec un premier, un deuxième et un troisième agent d'halogénation/titanation. L'invention concerne des composants de catalyseur, des catalyseurs, des systèmes de catalyse, des polyoléfines, les produits obtenus de ceux-ci, et les procédés de formation de chacun. Les produits de réaction peuvent être lavés avec un solvant d'hydrocarbure afin de réduire la teneur en titane [Ti] jusqu'à moins de 100 mmol/L environ.
