The wrapper primarily consists of a flexible thin film bag comprising two faces (3 and 4) pleated parallel to the base (5), the pleats (1) being secured to one another at their ends (2) corresponding to the lateral edges (6) of the bag. The opening (7) of the bag is extended on the side of face (4) by a flap (8). The opening (7) of the bag is widened by partially unfolding the pleats of faces (3 and 4) to form a container enclosing the object to be wrapped. The flap (8) covers the object to be wrapped and its end (15) is wedged between face (3) and the object to be wrapped: then the user only has to pull on the ends (6), to partially reform the pleats (1) about the object to be wrapped. The bag is useful as a wrapper for enclosing elongated objects such as hot dog sandwiches.

L'emballage est principalement constitué d'une enveloppe en film mince et souple comportant deux faces (3 et 4) plissées dans le sens parallèle au fond (5) et dont les plis (1) sont fixés entre eux à leurs extrémités (2) correspondant aux bords latéraux (6) de l'enveloppe; l'ouverture (7) de l'enveloppe est prolongée du côté de la face (4) par un rabat (8). L'ouverture (7) de l'enveloppe est largement écartée en défaisant partiellement les plis des faces (3 et 4) pour former un réceptacle susceptible de recevoir l'objet à emballer. Le rabat (8) recouvre l'objet à emballer et son extrémité (15) se coince entre la paroi (3) et l'objet à emballer; il reste à tirer sur les extrémités (6) pour reformer partiellement les plis (1) autour de l'objet à emballer. L'emballage est surtout destiné à emballer les objets allongés comme les sandwiches garnis de saucisses du type "hot-dog".
