It is intended to provide a process for producing an antibody composition with the use of a cell characterized by comprising using a cell having an RNA transferred thereinto inhibiting an enzyme which participates in a sugar chain modification whereby fucose is attached via an .alpha.-bond at the 1-position to the 6-position of N-acetylglucosamine at the reducing end of an N-glycoside- binding complex sugar chain; the RNA to be used in this production process; a DNA corresponding to the RNA; a cell having the RNA or DNA transferred thereinto or expressed therein; a process for constructing this cell; and a method of inhibiting the above enzyme.

Cette invention concerne un procédé permettant de produire une composition d'anticorps à l'aide d'une cellule, lequel procédé se caractérise par l'utilisation d'une cellule dans laquelle un ARN a été transféré pour inhiber une enzyme impliquée dans une modification de la chaîne glucidique au cours de laquelle le fucose est relié par l'intermédiaire d'une liaison .alpha. au niveau de la position 1 à la position 6 de la N-acétylglucosamine à l'extrémité de réduction d'une chaîne glucidique complexe se liant au N-glycoside. Cette invention concerne également l'ARN devant être utilisé dans ce processus de production ; un ADN correspondant à l'ARN ; une cellule dans laquelle l'ARN ou l'ADN a été transféré ou exprimé ; un procédé permettant de construire une telle cellule, ainsi qu'un procédé permettant d'inhiber l'enzyme susmentionnée.
