An aqueous, phosphate-containing solution is disclosed for generating phosphate layers on metallic surfaces made of iron, steel, zinc, zinc alloys, aluminium or aluminium alloys. The solution contains 0.3 to 5 g Zn 2+/1 and 0.1 to 3 g nitroguanidine/1, the S-value being comprised between 0.03 and 0.3 and the weight ratio Zn : P2O5 being from 1: 5 to 1: 30. Also disclosed is a phosphatising process in which the metallic surfaces are cleaned, then treated with the aqueous phosphatising solution for 5 seconds to 10 minutes at a temperature from 15 to 70 °C and finally rinsed with water.

L'invention concerne une solution aqueuse et phosphatée servant à déposer des couches de phosphate sur des surfaces métalliques en fer, acier, zinc, alliages de zinc, aluminium ou alliages d'aluminium. Cette solution renferme 0,3 à 5 g de Zn<2+>/l et 0,1 à 3 g de nitroguandanine/l, la valeur S étant comprise entre 0,03 et 0,3 et le rapport pondéral Zn:P2O5 allant de 1:5 à 1:30. L'invention concerne également un procédé de phosphatation, selon lequel les surfaces métalliques sont nettoyées, puis traitées avec la solution aqueuse de phosphatation pendant une durée de 5 secondes à 10 minutes, à une température de 15 à 70 DEG C, et enfin rincées à l'eau.
