Flowmeter for locating zones containing currents in a bore hole made in a rock. The flowmeter comprises parting elements (1) for separating a measurement section (3) in the hole from the rest of the hole in a substantially pressure-tight manner; an open flow duct (4) forming a free flow link between the hole portions on opposite sides of the flowmeter past the measurement section; and a measuring duct (5) leading from the section under measurement to a point outside it, together with measuring equipment (6), for measuring the magnitude and direction of flow between the measurement section and the hole portion outside it.
Cette invention concerne un débitmètre conçu pour localiser des zones de courants dans un trou de forage pratiqué dans une roche. Ledit débitmètre comporte des éléments de séparation (1) qui servent à séparer, de manière sensiblement étanche, une section de mesure (3) du trou, du reste du trou, un conduit pour écoulement naturel (4) formant un lien à flux libre entre les parties du trou disposées de part et d'autre du débitmètre au-delà de la section de mesure, et un conduit de mesure (5) reliant la section faisant l'objet de la mesure à un point extérieur à cette section, ledit conduit étant associé à un équipement de mesure (6) conçu pour mesurer l'amplitude et la direction du flux entre la section de mesure et la partie du trou extérieure à cette section.
