The invention relates to a device (1) for cutting a wire and forming a protective sleeve (24) for a wire end, said device comprising: A) an outer sleeve (4) having a longitudinal axis (28), a front end (18), a rear end (22), and a borehole (14) which longitudinally penetrates the sleeve (4) and has a borehole axis (9); and B) an inner sleeve (3) which can be rotated in the borehole (14) coaxially in relation to the borehole axis (9) and comprises a front end (19), a rear end (21), and a borehole (12) which longitudinally penetrates the sleeve (3) and has a borehole axis (13). According to the invention, C) the wall of the borehole (12) at the front end (19) of the inner sleeve (3) comprises a circular edge (15) of cut which is concentric to the borehole axis (13); D) the borehole (14) at the front end (18) of the outer sleeve (4) has a contraction (17), the longitudinal axis (11) of said contraction being parallel to the borehole axis (9) and at a distance a > 0 from the same; and E) the borehole axis (13) of the borehole (12) is parallel to the borehole axis (9) of the borehole (14) and is at a distance b > 0 from the same.

L'invention concerne un dispositif (1) servant à couper un fil métallique et à former simultanément une gaine de protection d'extrémité de fil (24).
