A process for preparing basestocks having superior low temperature properties at high viscosity index (VI). More particularly, a waxy feedstock is contacted with a first dewaxing catalyst having a refined constraint index (CI*) 2.0 or less followed by contacting with a second dewaxing catalyst having a refined constraint index greater than 2Ø
