ABSTRACT The invention concerns a device designed for building up a stack of aligned packing box blanks and turning the stack. To this aim, the device includes four movable stores angularly arranged on a rotary support, as well as four fixed corresponding work stations. The rotary support effectuates a 90° stop-and-go rotation. In the first station, a stack is built up with blanks provided by a first conveyor. In the second station, the stack which is subjected to an aligning action on its sides due to the 90° rotation of the support rests with the edges of its blanks in the fourth store. In the third station, the stack whose blanks are again in flat position though inverted with regard to the position in the first station, will take up a rest position on a second conveyor with a view to its removal from the third store. Such a stacking and turning device can be used on a machine producing packaging boxes and on which the blanks are stacked at the outlet of the printing/cutting machine before being fed into a folding box gluing machine.
