This invention concerns oxidation, by oxygen or gas in a container, of hydrocarbons, and/or alcohols, and/or ketones to corresponding carboxylic acids. It consists more specifically of an oxidation process of hydrocarbons, alcohol and/or ketone to carboxylic acid, using oxygen or a gas in a container, in liquid phase in a solvent selected among the polar protic solvents and the polar aprotic solvents and in the presence of a catalyst dissolved in the reaction medium, characterized by the fact that the catalyst contains at least one soluble cobalt compound and one soluble chromium compound.

La présente invention concerne l'oxydation par l'oxygène ou un gaz en contenant,d'hydrocarbures, et/ou d'alcools et/ou de cétones en acides carboxyliques correspondants. Elle consiste plus précisément en un procédé d'oxydation d'hydrocarbure, d'alcool et/ou de cétone en acide carboxylique, à l'aide d'oxygène ou d'un gaz en contenant, en phase liquide dans un solvant choisi parmi les solvants protiques polaires et les solvants aprotiques polaires et en présence d'un catalyseur dissous dans le milieu réactionnel, caractérisé en ce que le catalyseur comprend au moins un composé soluble du cobalt et un composé soluble du chrome.
