The invention relates to a system (and devices) for performing road work related excavation in difficult terrain. The object of the invention is to improve the efficiency of the overall road works by constructing moveable tunnel and gantry structures over the existing road, thus enabling the work to be performed in a more controlled and accessible manner. The net effect is to shield the existing vehicular traffic from the work itself, minimize disruptions to same and avoid the construction of costly detours.
L'invention concerne un système (et des dispositifs) pour effectuer un travail d'excavation de route sur un terrain difficile. L'objet de l'invention est d'améliorer l'efficacité de l'ensemble des travaux routiers par la construction de tunnel mobile et de structures à portique sur la route existante, permettant ainsi d'exécuter le travail de manière plus contrôlée et accessible. L'effet net est de protéger le trafic routier existant des travaux eux-mêmes, de réduire au minimum les interruptions du trafic routier et d'éviter la construction de détours coûteux.
