A steel contains, by weight: C: 0.2% to 0.5%, Si: 0.1% to 0.5%, Mn: 0.1% to 1%, P: 0.03% or less, S: 0.005% or less, Cr: 0.3% to 1.5%, Mo: 0.3% to 1%, Al: 0.01% to 0.1%, V: 0.1% to 0.5%, Nb: 0.01% to 0.05%, Ti: 0 to 0.01%, W: 0.3% to 1%, N: 0.01% or less, the remainder of the chemical composition of the steel being constituted by Fe and impurities or residuals resulting from or necessary to steel production and casting processes. The steel can be used to produce seamless tubes with a yield strength after heat treatment of 861 MPa or more.
La présente invention concerne un acier contenant, en poids : de 0,2 % à 0,5 % de C, de 0,1 % à 0,5 % de Si, de 0,1 % à 1 % de Mn, une quantité de P inférieure ou égale à 0,03 %, une quantité de S inférieure ou égale à 0,005 %, de 0,3 % à 1,5 % de Cr, de 0,3 % à 1 % de Mo, de 0,01 % à 0,1 % d'Al, de 0,1 % à 0,5 % de V, de 0,01 % à 0,05 % de Nb, de 0 à 0,01 % de Ti, de 0,3 % à 1 % de W, une quantité de N inférieure ou égale à 0,01 %, le reste de la composition chimique de l'acier étant constituée de Fe et d'impuretés ou de résidus résultant des procédés de production et de coulée de l'acier ou nécessaires à ces derniers. L'acier peut être utilisé pour produire des tubes sans soudure dotés d'une limite d'élasticité après traitement thermique supérieure ou égale à 861 MPa.
