Systems and methods for storing and providing information related to companion animals. Electronic records for companion animals are stored in a remotecentral database of a companion animal service centra! storage module. The electronic records can be associated with an identifier on an encoded electronically readable lag implanted in a companion animal. The central database can electronically receive from a companion anima! health care provider data related to the health of the animal A set of alphanumeric codes can be assigned to one or more of the health data and stored in an electronic record of the database. Furthermore, remote access to a portion of the electronic record can be provided to the companion animal owner.
L'invention concerne des systèmes et procédés de stockage et de restitution d'informations relatives aux animaux de compagnie. Les dossiers électroniques des animaux de compagnie sont stockés dans la base de données centrale du module de stockage central d'un service dédié aux animaux de compagnie. Lesdits dossiers peuvent être associés à un identifiant situé sur un dispositif codé lisible par voie électronique et implanté dans le corps de l'animal de compagnie. La base de données centrale peut recevoir par voie électronique des données provenant d'un vétérinaire et relatives à la santé de l'animal. Un ensemble de codes alphanumériques peut être affecté à une ou plusieurs desdites données de santé, et stocké dans un des dossiers de la base de données. Un accès à distance à une partie des dossiers peut en outre être fourni au propriétaire de l'animal.
