The invention concerns an apparatus comprising a sonotrode (2) designed to generate more or less high power ultrasounds in at least a biological sample (5) containing cells to be lysed, which sample is contained in at least a receptacle (4 or 10) suited for that purpose. The invention also concerns an apparatus comprising at least two sonotrodes and an ultrasonic lysis method of a biological sample (5) contained in a receptacle (4), using at least such a sonotrode (2). The apparatus is characterised in that the sonotrode (2) is directly in contact with the receptacle(s) (4). The method consists in: positioning the receptacle (4) in direct contact with the sonotrode (2); activating said sonotrode (2) for a time interval sufficient to lyse the cells in the sample (5) while preserving the released DNA's and/or the RNA's for subsequent use, for example in a step of amplification. The invention is preferably applicable in the field of molecular biology.
La présente invention concerne un appareil, comprenant une sonotrode (2) destinée à générer des ultrasons de plus ou moins forte puissance dans au moins un échantillon biologique (5) contenant des cellules à lyser, échantillon (5) qui est contenu dans au moins un récipient (4 ou 10) adapté à cet usage. Elle concerne également un appareil comprenant au moins deux sonotrodes et un procédé de lyse par ultrasons d'un échantillon biologique (5) contenu dans un récipient (4), qui utilise au moins une telle sonotrode (2). L'appareil se caractérise par le fait que la sonotrode (2) est directement en contact avec le ou les récipients (4). Le procédé consiste à: positionner le récipient (4) au contact direct de la sonotrode (2); activer ladite sonotrode (2) pendant un temps suffisant pour lyser les cellules contenues dans l'échantillon (5) en conservant ou les ADN et/ou ARN libérés pour permettre leur utilisation ultérieure, par exemple dans une étape d'amplification. L'invention trouve une application préférentielle dans le domaine de la biologie moléculaire.
