A downhole assembly and method for drilling at least on longitudinal window (20) and at least on key-way (50,51) in communication with the window (20) in a tubular wall (11) to be used in drilling multi-lateral wellbores and entry and reentry thereafter comprising: a first millin drill bit (16) for milling at least on longitudinal window (20), at least one a first whipstock (10) having at least one guide surface (18), orientation and positioning members (14, 19, 33) located on the first whipstock (10) for orientating and positioning tools (22, 35) to be used in drilling and milling at least one key- way (50, 51) in communication with the window (20), at lest one guide surface member (18) on the first whipstock member (10) for guiding the first milling drill bit (16) for milling the window (20), second drill bit mounted either in a second whipstock or a milling drill bit housing member (34) for drilling a downhole orienation key-way (50,51) in communication with the longitudinally milled window.
L'invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé fond-de-trou permettant de percer au moins une fenêtre longitudinale (20) et au moins un passage de clavette (50, 51) communiquant avec la fenêtre (20) dans une paroi tubulaire (11) devant être utilisée pour le forage de puits à plusieurs embranchements et pour l'entrée et la rentrée ultérieures. Le dispositif comprend: un premier outil de forage (16) destiné à percer au moins une fenêtre longitudinale (20); au moins un premier sifflet déviateur (10) comportant au moins une surface de guidage (18); des éléments d'orientation et de positionnement, (14, 19, 33) situés sur le premier sifflet déviateur (10), destinés à des outils d'orientation et de positionnement (22, 35) pour le perçage et le meulage d'au moins un chemin de clavette (50, 51) communiquant avec la fenêtre (20); au moins un élément de surface de guidage (18) situé sur le premier élément de sifflet déviateur (10) permettant le guidage du premier outil de forage (16) en vue du perçage de la fenêtre (20); un second outil de forage monté soit sur un second sifflet déviateur, soit sur un élément de logement d'outil de forage (34), destiné au perçage d'un passage de clavette d'orientation fond de trou (50, 51) communiquant avec la fenêtre percée longitudinalement.
