The invention concerns a method for assessing in vitro the genotoxicity of a compound, which consists in contacting said compound with at least a cell or cell type overexpressing bcl2 protooncogene and/or a related anti-apopoptic protein, and observing the genotoxic effects of said compound on said cell.

Cette invention concerne un procédé d'évaluation in vitro de la génotoxicité d'un composé, dans lequel on met en contact ledit composé avec au moins une cellule ou type cellulaire surexprimant le protooncogène bcl2 et/ou une protéine anti-apoptotique apparentée, et on observe les effets génotoxiques dudit composé sur ladite cellule.
