The invention concerns a method for integrating a segment [A, Z] of a constraint line in modelling a form by triangulation satisfying the empty circle criterion, comprising steps which consist in: selecting a point A of the segment forming part of the triangulation; determining the nearest edge (A¿1?, A¿2?) intersecting the segment; tracing the circle circumscribed to the triangle {A, A¿1?, A¿2?} formed by said point and said edge; adding to the triangulation the intersection point B between the circumscribed circle and the segment; said steps being repeated until the whole segment is integrated in the triangulation. The invention enables to integrate a segment in a triangulation, while preserving the properties of the triangulation.
