A storage media is disclosed and comprises a storage body and a readable indelible mark formed in the body such that portions thereof are indelibly altered. The mark is read by writing first data to the body in the region of the mark, and reading second data from the body in such region. The written first data is not accepted where the portions of the body are indelibly altered. Accordingly, the read second data corresponds to the written first data with segments thereof missing. The missing segments of the first data correspond to the portions of the body indelibly altered. In a preferred embodiment, the storage media comprises a magnetic rotatable disk having a substantially planar substrate and a magnetizable layer deposited thereon. The reading and writing are therefore performed magnetically.
L'invention concerne un support d'information qui comprend un corps d'enregistrement sur lequel figure une marque lisible indélébile faisant que certaines parties dudit corps subissent une modification indélébile. La marque est lue comme suit : écriture de premières données sur le corps dans la région de la marque, et lecture de secondes données depuis le corps dans ladite région. Les premières données écrites ne sont pas acceptées là où les parties du corps sont modifiées de manière indélébile. En conséquence, les secondes données lues correspondent aux première données écrites, moyennant l'absence de certains segments desdites données. Les segments manquants des premières données correspondent aux parties du corps modifiées de manière indélébile. En mode de réalisation préféré, le support d'enregistrement comprend un disque magnétique rotatif à substrat sensiblement plat sur lequel est déposée une couche magnétisable. Les opérations de lecture et d'écriture sont donc effectuées magnétiquement.
