A method and system of navigating through television program content in which a viewer has an impression of navigation through a three dimensional environment (10, 12). The content is organized into a plurality of domains (10) according to categories or business units. A plurality of navigation tools (12) are provided which present information regarding the program content in a plurality of interfaces. At least one tool (12) provides the viewer with access to a plurality of channels of content. The viewer navigates between domains (10), tools (12), and channels to locate a desired program to view.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un système permettant de naviguer dans un contenu de programme de télévision et donnant à l'utilisateur l'impression de se déplacer à l'intérieur d'un environnement en trois dimensions (10, 12). Le contenu est divisé en plusieurs domaines (10), selon des catégories ou des unités commerciales. Plusieurs instruments de navigation (12) présentent l'information relative au contenu de programme via une pluralité d'interfaces. Au moins un instrument (12) permet à l'utilisateur d'accéder à une pluralité de voies de contenu. L'utilisateur navigue entre les domaines (10), les instruments (12) et les voies, dans le but de localiser tel ou tel programme dont la visualisation est recherchée.
