Present invention includes a method and an apparatus for separation of hydrocarbons from hydrocarbon containing produced water, which in step 1, the hydrocarbon containing produced water is supplied a gaseous component, after which a gas and hydrocarbon containing produced water mixture is supplied to an inlet (22, 27) in the center of a tank, after which the said mixture is distributed tangential by at least one nozzle (7) and at least one baffle plate (8.1). The separated hydrocarbons are then directed to at least one outlet from the tank and treated water to an other outlet (12) of the tank.

La présente invention porte sur un procédé et un appareil pour la séparation d'hydrocarbures à partir d'eau produite contenant des hydrocarbures. A l'étape 1 de ce procédé, l'eau produite contenant des hydrocarbures est acheminée avec un composant gazeux, ensuite, un mélange de gaz et d'eau produite contenant des hydrocarbures est acheminé vers une entrée (22, 27) dans la partie centrale d'une cuve puis ledit mélange est distribué de manière tangentielle par au moins une buse (7) et au moins un déflecteur (8.1).
