The invention provides pharmaceutical compositions comprising a protoporphyrin precursor photochemotherapeutic agent together with vascular stroma-localizing photosensitizers, optionally together with at least one surface penetration assisting agent and optionally with one or more chelating agents, and use of the same in treating disorders or abnormalities which are responsive to PDT, preferably exhibiting synergistically enhanced therapy, kits comprising same and methods of therapy and diagnosis.

La présente invention concerne, d'une part, des compositions pharmaceutiques comportant un agent photochimiothérapeutique précurseur de protoporphyrine, des agents photosensibilisants de localisation du tissu conjonctif vasculaire, éventuellement, au moins un auxiliaire de pénétration de surface et, éventuellement, un ou plusieurs agents chélateurs, et, d'autre part, l'utilisation des mêmes compositions dans le traitement de troubles et anomalies qui sont sensibles à la thérapie photodynamique, de préférence, constituant une thérapie améliorée sur le plan synergique. L'invention concerne enfin des kits comprenant ces compositions et les procédé de thérapie et de diagnostic basés sur ces compositions.
