A process for efficiently producing from a barley-derived raw material a vegetable glycosphingolipid inhibited from emitting an offensive odor. The process, which is for producing a vegetable glycosphingolipid, includes: an extraction step (2) in which the raw material is mixed with a halogen-free alcohol solvent and this raw-material mixture is heated; and a fatty acid removal step (3) in which fatty acids are removed from the extract obtained in the extraction step (2).

La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de production efficiente, à partir d'un matériau brut dérivé de l'orge, d'un glycosphingolipide végétal n~émettant pas d~odeur désagréable. Ledit procédé de production de glycosphingolipide végétal inclut : une étape d~extraction (2) selon laquelle le matériau brut est mélangé à un solvant alcoolique sans halogènes, et selon laquelle le mélange ainsi obtenu est chauffé ; et une étape d~élimination d~acides gras (3) selon laquelle les acides gras sont éliminés de l~extrait obtenu dans l~étape d~extraction.
