ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION A child-proof cap provided with a screw closure, includes at least one tilting flange extending parallel to the screw axis, that must be pivoted about a tilt axis via the application of radially directed pressure at a particular position on the flange, for unlocking the cap. The cap while so unlocked can then be rotated to remove it from the neck of a bottle, for example.
