An absorbent article includes a fastening system that is adapted to resist pop- offs caused by clothing being applied or removed over the absorbent article. The fastening system includes an interlocking fastening component with a resilient backing structure and a plurality of engaging elements projecting from a first major surface of the backing structure. The first major surface has a concave configuration in the direction of a primary meridian, a generally perpendicular secondary meridian, or both the primary and secondary meridians. The concavity of the interlocking fastening component is characterized in terms of a bending index of the first major surface or an amount of elevation of a central portion of the first major surface.
Un article absorbant comporte un dispositif d'attache qui est conçu pour résister à des ouvertures intempestives provoquées par l'application d'un vêtement sur ledit article absorbant ou par le retrait d'un vêtement. Le dispositif d'attache comporte un composant permettant l'attache par accrochage et comportant une structure de renforcement élastique et une pluralité d'éléments de couplage en saillie par rapport à une première surface majeure de la structure de renforcement. Cette première surface majeure a une configuration concave suivant la direction d'un premier méridien, d'un second méridien généralement perpendiculaire ou des deux méridiens primaire et secondaire. La concavité du composant permettant l'attache par accrochage est caractérisée par un indice de courbure de la première surface majeure ou par une valeur d'élévation d'une partie centrale de la première surface majeure.
