ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention is a container for transportation and storage. It comprises a base and side panels for posi- tioning on the base to form a universal storage container. The side panels have a panel structure for maintaining the structural integrity of the side panel, with at least one latch near a lower edge for securely attaching the panel to the base. The vertical edges of the side panels have universal joints to interconnect the panels. Also, a cover can be provided and the panels can include at least one latch near an upper edge for securely attaching the side panel to the cover. In another embodiment, plastic support braces extend between side panels to support articles, boxes, or shelves inside the container. The support braces are held in place by tether pins located in shelving recesses of the side panels.
