The invention concerns a device (10) for stirring and aerating a liquid (3) in a treatment vessel (1), comprising: at least a funnel (11); at least a casing (12) connected to said funnel (11); at least a main stirrer (13) located in said casing (12); means (14, 15) for driving said stirrer (13) in rotation; and means (17, 18) for incorporating air in said liquid, said air incorporating means consisting exclusively of means adapted to incorporate in said liquid (3) air at atmospheric pressure under the sole effect of the movement of said liquid (3) inside the device (10). Said device is characterised in that said air incorporating means include the upper edge of said funnel (11), configured so as form a cascade of liquid (3) at the periphery of said funnel (11).
Ce dispositif (10) pour brasser et aérer un liquide (3) dans une cuve de traitement (1), comprend: au moins un entonnoir (11), au moins une gaine (12) reliée audit entonnoir (11), au moins une hélice principale (13) située dans ladite gaine (12), des moyens (14, 15) pour entraîner ladite hélice (13) en rotation, et des moyens (17, 18) pour incorporer de l'air audit liquide, ces moyens d'incorporation d'air étant constitués exclusivement de moyens adaptés pour incorporer audit liquide (3) de l'air à la pression atmosphérique sous le seul effet de la mise en mouvement dudit liquide (3) à l'intérieur dudit dispositif (10). Ce dispositif est remarquable en ce que lesdits moyens d'incorporation d'air comprennent le bord supérieur dudit entonnoir (11), conformé de manière à former une cascade de liquide (3) à la périphérie dudit entonnoir (11).
