The present invention relates to a process for producing a carbon substrate loaded with metal oxides, in particular a carbon material which contains metal oxide nanoparticles and is preferably suitable for use in a catalyst and/or as a catalyst, wherein, in a first process step, nanoparticles of metal oxides are introduced into a matrix based on at least one organic polymer, in particular are dispersed therein, and, in a second process step, the polymer matrix containing the nanoparticles is subsequently carbonised to carbon, optionally followed by a third process step of activation.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un substrat carboné chargé d'oxydes métalliques, en particulier d'une matière carbonée contenant des nanoparticules d'oxydes métalliques, cette matière étant adaptée de préférence à une utilisation dans un catalyseur et/ou comme catalyseur. Au cours d'une première étape de procédé, des nanoparticules d'oxydes métalliques sont incorporées, en particulier dispersées dans une matrice à base d'au moins un polymère organique, puis la matrice polymère contenant les nanoparticules ainsi obtenue est carbonisée sous forme de carbone au cours d'une deuxième étape de procédé, suivie éventuellement d'une troisième étape de procédé consistant en une activation.
