The invention concerns a process for the preparation of an insulated soft magnetic powder comprising the steps of mixing particles of a soft magnetic iron base powder with an acidic, aqueous insulating-layer forming solution, in which MgO has been dissolved; and drying the obtained mixture to obtain an electrically insulating Mg containing layer on the particle surfaces. The invention also concerns the powder per se as well as compressed soft magnetic powder cores prepared from the powder.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour la préparation d'une poudre à aimantation temporaire, isolée, comprenant les étapes suivantes : mélange des particules d'une poudre à base de fer à aimantation temporaire avec une solution aqueuse acide qui forme une couche isolante et dans laquelle a été dissous du MgO ; séchage dudit mélange pour obtenir une couche isolante électriquement, renfermant du Mg, sur les surfaces de particules. L'invention concerne également la poudre elle-même, ainsi que des noyaux de poudre compactée à aimantation temporaire, préparés à partir de la poudre.
