Methods are provided for therapeutically reprogramming differentiated cells with nuclear extracts from pluripotent stem cells to generate a pluripotent epigenetic state in the differentiated cells. Additionally, therapeutically programmed cells for therapeutic use in patients are provided. Therapeutically programmed cells are stem cells which have been matured such that they represent either a more differentiated state or a less differentiated state after contact with stimulatory factors.

L'invention concerne des procédés permettant de reprogrammer sur le plan thérapeutique des cellules différenciées au moyen d'extraits nucléaires provenant de cellules souches pluripotentes, afin de produire un état épigénétique pluripotent dans les cellules différenciées. De plus l'invention concerne les cellules programmées sur le plan thérapeutique aux fins d'utilisation thérapeutique chez des patients. Les cellules programmées sur le plan thérapeutique sont des cellules souches mûries de manière à représenter soit un état plus différencié, soit un état moins différencié après le contact avec des facteurs de stimulation.
