Process for producing an electronic card comprising a micromodule inserted in the card body, wherein one layer of said body, contacting said micromodule, is of polymerised plastic material. Said process is characterised in that a mixture containing a low viscosity liquid monomer is spread on a substrate used for producing the card and the polymerisation of said monomer is initiated with a polymerisation initiator. The process is particularly useful for the production of microcircuit cards such as contactless cards and advantageously uses an acrylic or methacrylic compound.
L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'une carte électronique comportant un micromodule inséré dans un corps de carte, une couche dudit corps de carte, en contact avec ledit micromodule, étant une couche plastique polymérisée. Ce procédé se caractérise en ce qu'on répand, sur un support de fabrication de la carte, un mélange comportant un monomère liquide de faible viscosité et en ce qu'on initialise une polymérisation dudit monomère grâce à un initiateur de polymérisation. Le procédé s'applique, en particulier, à la fabrication de cartes à puce telles que les cartes sans contact. Il met en oeuvre, avantageusement, un système méthacrylique ou acrylique.
