ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Printing products, arriving in an imbricated formation, have a certain formation length and approximately equal imbrication spacings. An imbrication-like formation is formed by pushing together the printing products and, at the same time, shortening the imbrication spacing. The imbrication-like formation is rolled up, together with a wrapping element, into a roll-shaped bundle. An end user then unrolls the bundle and pushes the imbrication-like formation together to form a vertical stack. For this purpose, the length of the imbrication-like formation length is chosen such that the same person can grasp, with his hands, the ends of the formation at the same time. Individual printing products may then be removed from the stack.
