A foldable plastic slider for straddling relation with a profiled plastic zipper. The straddling slider for closing or opening the zipper by movement therealong, comprising: a transverse support member (12) including opposing sides, a pair of legs (31, 32) depending from the opposing sides of the support member, and a pair of wings (25, 26) hingedly attached to the opposing sides. Each wing has an opening for receiving its respective leg, and each wing has a cored out cross piece (25b, 26b). The cored out cross piece has a solid ramp latch (25a, 26a). The wings are folded relative to the support member and the latches engage the legs to assemble the slider on the zipper in a closed sidewall position.

L'invention a pour objet un curseur pliable en plastique, placé à cheval sur une fermeture éclair profilée en plastique. Le curseur pliable placé à cheval sert à fermer et à rouvrir la fermeture éclair par déplacement le long de cette dernière. Il comprend ce qui suit: un élément de support transversal (12) qui possède des côtés opposés, deux pattes (31, 32) qui pendent des côtés opposés de l'élément de support et deux ailes (25, 26) attachées par charnières aux côtés opposés. Chaque aile comporte un orifice, qui sert à accueillir la patte correspondante, et une pièce transversale évidée (25b, 26b). La pièce transversale évidée est munie d'un fermoir solide à élément incliné (25a, 26a). Lorsque les ailes sont repliées par rapport à l'élément de support, les fermoirs entrent en prise avec les pattes, ce qui a pour effet d'assembler le curseur sur la fermeture éclair en une position latérale fermée.
