One object of the present invention is to provide a separation process that enables the efficient separation of selenium, tellurium, and platinum group elements from a material containing selenium/tellurium and platinum group elements. In order to achieve this object, the invention provides a separation process for platinum group elements comprising: a step (A) for treating a material containing selenium/tellurium and platinum group elements with alkali, a step (B) for leaching selenium/tellurium, and a step (C) for separating the platinum group element-containing leaching residue and the selenium/tellurium leachate.

Un but de la présente invention est d'obtenir un processus de séparation qui permet de séparer efficacement les éléments du groupe de sélénium, de tellure et de platine d'un matériau contenant lesdits éléments de ce groupe. Afin d'atteindre ce but, l'invention décrit un processus de séparation pour les éléments du groupe de platine comprenant les étapes suivantes : A) traitement d'un matériau contenant des éléments du groupe de sélénium, de tellure et de platine avec un alcali; B) extraction par lixiviation du sélénium/du tellure; C) séparation du résidu de lixiviation contenant des éléments du groupe de platine et de lixiviation de sélénium/tellure.
