The invention provides a filter apparatus (10) for removing air entrained particles comprising a collapsible filter media (12). The filter media has a periphery (14). A continuous frame (56) extends around and attaches to the periphery (14) of the filter media (12) whereby the filter media (12) and the attached frame (56) together can be lengthwise collapsed.
