Techniques for handling inconsistent control information in a wireless communication system are described. In an aspect, inconsistent control information is handled in different manners for the downlink and uplink. In one design, a user equipment (UE) receives a first grant with first control information for a first data transmission and also receives a second grant with second control information for a second data transmission. The UE determines that the second control information is inconsistent with the first control information, e.g., due to the two grants conveying different transport block sizes. The UE determines whether to retain or discard the second grant based on whether the two grants are for data transmissions on the downlink or uplink. In one design, the UE retains the second grant if the two grants are for data transmissions on the downlink and discards the second grant if the two grants are for data transmissions on the uplink.
L'invention concerne des techniques pour manipuler des informations de commande incohérentes dans un système de communications sans fil. Selon un aspect, les informations de commande incohérentes sont manipulées de différentes manières pour une liaison descendante et pour une liaison montante. Selon une conception, un équipement utilisateur (UE) reçoit une première autorisation conjointement à de premières informations de commande pour une première transmission de données et une seconde autorisation conjointement à de secondes informations de commande pour une seconde transmission de données. L'UE détermine que les secondes informations de commande sont incohérentes par rapport aux premières informations de commande, par exemple, du fait que les deux autorisations transportent des dimensions de blocs de transport différentes. L'UE détermine s'il faut conserver ou supprimer la seconde autorisation selon que les deux autorisations concernent des transmissions de données sur la liaison descendante ou sur la liaison montante. Selon une conception, l'UE conserve la seconde autorisation si les deux autorisations concernent des transmissions de données sur la liaison descendante et supprime la seconde autorisation si les deux autorisations concernent des transmissions de données sur la liaison montante.
