Heat sealed articles and heat sealable films comprising a polymer blend of a first polymer having a narrow molecular weight and composition distribution and a second polymer having a broad molecular weight distribution and composition distribution. The articles and films have significantly improved physical charactenstics and remarkably low heat seal initiation temperatures, high seal strength, high hot tack and therefore provide improved processibility and higher line speeds on commercial heat sealing equipment.
L'invention se rapporte à des articles thermosoudés et à des films thermosoudables comprenant un mélange de polymères constitué d'un premier polymère ayant une répartition étroite de composition et de masses moléculaires, et d'un second polymère ayant une répartition large de poids moléculaire et de composition. Ces articles et ces films présentent des caractéristiques physiques considérablement améliorées et des températures de démarrage de thermosoudage remarquablement basses, une forte résistance, une forte adhésivité à chaud, et par conséquent présentent une possibilité de traitement améliorée avec des vitesses linéaires plus élevées sur un équipement commercial de thermosoudage.
