A highwall mining system for mining aggregate material from a seam (8) is disclosed. The system comprises a mining means (9) for cutting aggregate material from the seam (8) and thereby to form a drive (10) in the seam (8), a conveying means (11) for conveying mined aggregate material from the drive (10), the conveying means (11) comprising a plurality of modular conveyor units (13) having a means for releasably coupling together the conveyor units (13), and a driving means for driving the mining means (9) and the conveying means (11) into the seam (8) to form the drive (10).
L'invention concerne un système d'exploitation minière par paroi d'attaque de la fouille consistant à exploiter un matériau concassé dans une veine (8). Le système comprend un dispositif d'exploitation (9) conçu pour tailler un matériau concassé dans la veine (8) et à former ainsi un couloir d'accès (10) dans cette veine (8), une bande transporteuse (11) qui transporte le matériau concassé exploité depuis le couloir d'accès (10), cette bande transporteuse (11) comprenant une pluralité d'unités modulaires de transport (13) et possédant un dispositif pour raccorder ces dernières entre-elles de manière libérable, et un dispositif d'entraînement pour diriger le système d'exploitation (9) et la bande transporteuse (11) dans la veine (8) afin de former le couloir d'accès (10).
