A flying toy comprises a body adapted to be suspended from a first line, a signal sensor located on the body, a moveable element pivotally attached to the body, a motor connected to the moveable element to cause it to move reciprocally or rotationally, and a remote control comprising a signal transmitter, such that a signal from the remote control received by the sensor will trigger the motor to alter the state of motion of the moveable element.
