New polyacrylamide matrices, based on new acrylamide of formula (I) in which R represents hydrogen or CH3 and R1 and R2, independently between them, represent hydrogen, or a group of the formula - [(CH2)n O]P-H, where n=3 or > 3 and p=1-5, preferably 1, with the proviso that at least one, between R1 and R2, should be different from hydrogen, are described. Such matrices present the following advantages: a) a marked resistance to alkaline hydrolysis (i.e. at the typical pH values of zone electrophoresis); b) a high hydrophilicity; c) a higher porosity.

On décrit des nouvelles matrices polyacrylamides, à base du nouvel acrylamide de formule (I) dans laquelle R représente hydrogène ou CH3, et R1 et R2 représentent indépendamment l'un de l'autre hydrogène ou un groupe de la formule -[(CH2)nO]p-H, où n=3 ou > 3, et p=1-5, de préférence 1, à la condition que l'un au moins parmi R1 et R2 ne soit pas hydrogène. De telles matrices présentent les avantages suivants: a) une résistance prononcée à l'hydrolyse alcaline (c'est-à-dire au niveau des valeurs de pH typiques de l'électrophorèse de zone); b) une hydrophilie élevée; c) une porosité supérieure, résultant de valeurs plus élevées de masse moléculaire relative des monomères.
