A belted absorbent article (10) having an absorbent structure (16) and a pair of opposed belt halves (12, 14) attached to the absorbent structure (16) via a respective joint (50). The joint (50) between each belt half (12, 14) and the absorbent structure (16) is designed such that when each belt half is subjected to a tension force of 35 N acting along the belt half and the direction of applied tension creates an angle (.alpha.) to the transverse axis (T) of the absorbent structure, the following minimum average release times (t) of each belt half from the absorbent structure are attained: when .alpha. = 10~, t » 720 seconds; when .alpha. = 20~, t » 330 seconds; when .alpha. = 25~, t » 240 seconds; when .alpha. = 30~, t » 180 seconds; and when .alpha. = 40~, t » 75 seconds.

L'invention concerne un article absorbant (10) à ceinture présentant une structure absorbante (16) ainsi qu'une paire de moitiés de ceinture opposées (12, 14) fixées à la structure absorbante (16) par l'intermédiaire d'un joint respectif (50). Le joint (50) entre chaque moitié de ceinture (12, 14) et la structure absorbante (16) est conçu de telle manière que lorsque chaque moitié de ceinture est soumise à une force de tension de 35 N agissant le long de la moitié de ceinture, et que le sens de la tension appliquée crée un angle (.alpha.) par rapport à l'axe transversal (T) de la structure absorbante, les temps (t) moyens minimum de libération suivants de chaque moitié de ceinture depuis la structure absorbante sont obtenus: lorsque .alpha. = 10·, T >> 720 secondes; lorsque .alpha. = 20·, t >> 330 secondes; lorsque .alpha. = 25·, t >> 240 secondes; lorsque .alpha. = 30·, t >> 180 secondes; et lorsque .alpha. = 40·, t >> 75 secondes.
